Had it not been a fantastic deal via Groupon and I had paid the full price for it, I would have been thoroughly disappointed. It included a facial, a massage, use of whirlpool, steam or sauna room and lunch for both of us. When we voiced our concern regarding lunch to the employee who rang us up at the end of the day, she just said "Well, I hope the other services made up for it." We drove an hour to get there, I will choose a nicer place, closer to home next time.Surprised my mom with a day spa package purchased from Groupon. I know this spa was once a luxurious place to enjoy, but I feel it has fallen from grace. The locker room needs some updating- most of the lockers didn't work and the hair dryer was so old it had hair/dust in the fan. The only negative thing I can say about the mani/pedi is the poor selection of nail polish options. We both received massages and mani/pedi services and were happy with the employees who performed those services. The waitress had the salmon waiting for us at the end of the day to take home, she felt bad and it honestly wasn't her fault, however, that is completely unacceptable to serve your guests who paid over $300 for a gift card iceberg lettuce and water. We had five minutes to eat the lettuce and fruit before our manicure. She did bring some fresh fruit once I explained we were starving and lettuce wasn't going to cut it. To make a long story short, we were served plain iceberg lettuce (only one kind of dressing available) and water. Fast forward another ten minutes, no bread in sight and water is gone. Another ten minutes goes by, we ask about the bread? She said it's coming right out with your salads. She said no- the soda was flat and not available. We understood- and asked if we could get the soft drinks we ordered. (Really? We were the only two in the whole restaurant) She said they were trying to get some bread out for us since we were starving. The waitress eventually came out and said they were running behind/busy and had a new chef that day. We waved over an employee who did NOT work in the kitchen and she graciously got us two waters. We sat there for twenty minutes with no one acknowledging us. After a few services, we were taken to the restaurant at 1:40pm and were told an employee would be return at 2:30pm to take us to our next service. We chose our lunch selections (soft drink, salads with salmon, fresh fruit, etc.). We arrived at the spa for our appointment at 11:30am. Lunch was also included in our package- that was a complete debacle. When asked, they said they were not allowed to serve alcohol due to COVID.we replied that we had seen several other guests served mimosas that day. We were never given our mimosas (which were specifically stated in the package I purchased). The robe they gave me was full of big holes- to the point where I wondered why they hadn't pitched it? I would be embarrassed to hand that to a client. The building could use some updating, I'm not being picky about decor or style- simply cleanliness! The floors were stained and a mess. ![]() I hadn't been here in about 12 years, but in my opinion the place has gone downhill. I purchased a gift card for my friend and I, as a special treat for her 40th birthday.
